Is the insurance included? 

Yes fully comprehensive insurance is included.

  1. FLAT RATE OPTION: $2500 credit card bond held for insurance excess and not withdrawn from your account unless required. 
  1. INSURANCE REDUCTION OPTION: A reduction of the insurance excess to $1,000 is available for $20 per day. Excluding damage to the awning. This option must be paid in full prior to departure and is not refundable. Please note: Insurance reduction is not available for drivers under the age of 25.

What’s the drop off and pick up time? 

Per night: Pick up is 3:30pm drop off is 11am.

Per day: Pick up 9:30am drop off 4:00pm

How much deposit do I have to pay for a VAN?

To secure a booking you need to pay 50% of the hire cost or $500 (whichever is lesser). This secures your dates. 

The difference is due on pick up

Is there a booking fee?

No, we do not charge any booking or admin fees.

Can I have my pet inside the van?

No pets inside the van, please consider other customers who may have allergies. 

 

Can I run the van fridge while driving?

 Only if your vehicle is fitted with a 50 amp Anderson plug. 

Closing Down

TrueBlue HIRE is closing its doors.
Don’t worry if you have a booking.
All current bookings will be honored.

Complete closure is expected to take place in September 2026.

No new bookings will be taken.
